I’m Breanna
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor recently settled back on Vancouver Island after 8 years in Kenya, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families navigating life far from home.
Like many of my clients, I’ve done my own work—moving through therapy, healing, and slowly learning to listen to my body and live with more balance. These experiences shape how I sit with people: with curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for the courage it takes to engage with their own story.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about uncovering the strength, wisdom, and beauty that has been there all along.
Real change doesn’t come from forcing yourself into who you think you should be. It begins when you feel safe enough to pause, listen inward, and meet yourself with curiosity instead of judgment.

MY HEART
Therapy is not only about unpacking the past—it’s about making room for hidden parts of you to breathe and blossom.
How I got here
I grew up here on Vancouver Island, and for eight years I also called Kenya home. I began by teaching in elementary schools and developing social-emotional programs that nurtured mental health in the community. Later, while completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology, I joined a clinic providing counselling for expats and local families navigating life transitions. Those years shaped my understanding of resilience, grief, and belonging across cultures.
Now back in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I hold a special heart for those navigating transitions — whether it’s moving across the world, stepping through loss, or simply finding your way in a new season of life.
More than work
You’ll usually find me with a book in hand or wandering through the forest with coffee in tow.
I love discovering new corners of the world and learning about different cultures (I’ve traveled to over 25 countries!)
Finding beauty in everyday rhythms—whether that’s ocean air, journaling, or deep conversations over coffee.
I’m endlessly curious and always seem to be signing up for one more course I probably don’t need (but love anyway).
Sound like we could be a good fit?
It would be an honour to walk alongside you and hear your story.
