Healing takes time.
In a world that moves fast, therapy invites us to slow down—to meet ourselves with honesty and care.
Together, we’ll explore the parts that feel heavy, the ones that have been protecting you, and the ones that are ready to breathe again. It's a collaborative work: adaptive, human, and unique to you.
I support adults and adolescents with a trauma-informed, relational approach—drawing from EMDR, IFS, and somatic practices to foster insight, nervous-system regulation, and lasting growth.

My Toolbox
Faith Integration
For clients who wish, I offer the option to weave Christian faith into our work together. This might mean drawing on spiritual practices, values, or perspectives that support your healing. Always optional, always client-led.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS sees us as having many “parts” — the protectors that keep us safe, the tender ones that hold pain, and the core Self that is calm and compassionate. It reminds us there are no “bad” parts — only parts that have taken on hard jobs. Instead of pushing parts away, IFS helps us meet them with curiosity and care, creating a path toward healing and inner connection.
Brain Spotting and Somatic
Body-based practices that help us tune into the wisdom carried in the nervous system. By noticing what the body remembers beyond words, these approaches help us gently process trauma and restore a sense of balance, grounding, and safety.
EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) is an evidence-based method that helps the brain and body reprocess distressing memories that feel stuck. It allows us to release the grip of past experiences so we can step into freedom and begin healing.

At this time, I meet with clients online through a secure video platform. Sessions are 50 or 75 minutes and move at a pace that feels safe for you. My approach draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic awareness—modalities that help you connect with your inner experience rather than just talk about it. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and body sensations that arise, gently working toward healing, integration, and a greater sense of connection to yourself.
-
Everyone’s process looks different. Some people find a few sessions helpful for support around a specific issue, while others choose to continue longer-term for deeper healing and growth. We’ll move at your pace and check in regularly about how therapy is working for you.
-
I do not bill insurance directly, but many insurance providers offer coverage for services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Clients are encouraged to check with their provider to confirm eligibility for reimbursement.

Virtually! Feel free to stay in your PJs, get cozy, and grab a cup of tea (my favourite is Masala Chai). I’m grateful to work online with folks here on Vancouver island and internationally.

Counselling can be flexible. You’re welcome to come for as few or as many sessions as you need. Once you’ve had an initial session and are in my system, you can return at any time—whether that’s weeks, months, or years later—when you feel it would be helpful to reconnect.

Sessions are $150 for 50 minutes or $225 for 75 minutes.

Not at this time. My session fees are lower than typical for Registered Clinical Counsellors because I work exclusively online. This allows me to avoid the costs of renting and maintaining a physical office, and I pass those savings on to my clients.
I also set aside a small number of sessions to offer free or reduced-cost appointments as a way to give back. These spots are currently full.
-
Absolutely. While I specialize in trauma-informed approaches, EMDR, IFS, and somatic therapy aren’t only for “big” or single-event trauma. Many people come to counselling to understand patterns in relationships, reconnect with their emotions, or develop more compassion toward themselves. Therapy is a safe space to slow down, make sense of your inner world, and experience growth—no matter what brings you in.
-
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll talk about your background, set some intentions for our work together, and I’ll answer any questions you might have about the process. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.
-
The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of counselling. I offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can connect, discuss your goals, and see if my approach feels like a good fit for you. During this call—and in the first session—you can notice whether you feel safe, understood, and supported. If it’s not the right fit, I can provide referrals to help you find a therapist who might be a better match.
Every healing journey starts with a single step.
Let’s connect for a free 15-minute clarity call to see if this space feels right for you.
